You all will be stunned to hear that for the 1st time in Bangladesh, the “National CanSat Competition 2019” is being organized by BRAC University and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University. Robotics Club of BRAC University (ROBU) and BRAC Onnesha Team are represented as the proud sole organizer of this event. BRAC Onnesha was the first Nano Satellite built in Bangladesh to be launched into space developed and accumulated by three of its students, with the technology and facilities of a Japanese university.
What is National CanSat Competition?
CanSat Competition welcomes the idealistic young generation to hold up their enthusiasm for experiencing real-life involvement in regards of aerospace program. This year CanSat competition is based on drop test, where participants have to build the CanSat and make a CDR (CRITICAL DESIGN Review). As CanSat stands for a simulation of an actual satellite combined inside the capacity of a can, the participants will face several challenges to fit all the key systems found in a satellite.
As an aerospace program, this competition will cover a very fundamental scheme of aerospace field. All the participants will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills through an extensive range of performances throughout the whole segments. Being a part of this innovative event you can unleash your technical ability and be a part of this national event.
